In particular, a battery's nominal capacity and its usable capacity are reported as the two distinct figures they are, and one is never presented as the other. Nothing here replaces a manufacturer's own instructions, the markings on a product, or the rules of the country you are in — and two statements are repeated on every page that touches them: a published peak output describes what a converter tolerates for an instant and is never presented here as a load it will carry; and no fuse, breaker, isolator, earthing arrangement or setting is described on this site as making an installation safe.
